ACIG Experts Take Part in IV Russia-Kyrgyzstan Interregional Conference

IV Russia-Kyrgyzstan Interregional Conference “Eurasian Economic Union: New Prospects for Interregional Cooperation” was held in Bishkek on September 22, 2015. This event was organized by Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic. Representatives of relevant ministries, governmental authorities, regional authorities, business structures and nongovernmental organizations of both countries took part in this event. Experts from ACIG Group of Companies joined participants during the business program of the conference.

Such Conference is held every year since 2011 and is focused on discussion of interregional cooperation extension and sustainable development of Russian and Kyrgyz economies. In course of the event experts reviewed transport, agricultural, energy and tourism issues as well as labor migration problems and investments with reference to entering Kyrgyzstan into the Eurasian Economic Union.

Aleksandr Tsybulsky, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and Oleg Pankratov, Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, took part in the Conference among other important guests. According to Aleksandr Tsybulsky, the Kyrgyz Republic is an important strategic partner of Russia. Cooperation is maintained in many fields; more than 60 federal subjects of Russia have stable working relations with the Kyrgyz Republic. Based on statistics, bilateral trade relations are progressing dynamically.

Youth Forum "Role of Youth in the Eurasian Integration", aimed to elaborate a communication platform for effective cooperation of young people from Russia and Kyrgyzstan under conditions of the Eurasian Economic Union development was held in Bishkek in the framework of the Conference. Participants discussed creation of common projects in humanitarian and educational fields.
