Search for Future Leaders

The expert panel of ACIG Group of Companies themed “Searching for leaders of the future” will be held at the 8th Gaidar Forum on 13 January.

Changes across all areas speed up amid the globalization. The concept of a VUCA world becomes increasingly popular with its uncertainty and complexity. We are moving into an era of ideas. This new times will definitely require new approaches to enhance management efficiency and brand new leaders.

The companies with strong focus on the identification and development of internal leadership, demonstrate a significantly higher income and profit compared to competitors that avoid such practices. There thus exists a direct cause-and-effect relationship between the availability and quality of a "reserve bench", i.e. potential future leaders and performance. These findings encourage investments in the programs identifying and developing high-potential employees.

In recent days, many different approaches and solutions in HiPo selection and staff capacity assessment have emerged, but the problems defining the goals and objectives of capacity assessment, the effectiveness of approaches to identifying HiPo, and the identification of the concepts of “potential”, “capacity model” still remain crucial in Russia and in the world.

During the debate, the experts will discuss solutions in capacity assessment, determine relationships between capacity model, industrial identity and management culture of companies, as well as make up an image of a leader sought to bring successful development to Russia.

The moderators of the discussion will be Viktor Tolmachev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at ACIG Group of Companies, and Nadezhda Ryabova, Vice President for Human Resources at Unilever.
