ACIG participates in the 3rd meeting of the Consultative Committee on Tax Policy and Administration under the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission

On October 30 – November 01, 2012, ACIG representatives participated in the 3rd meeting of the Consultative Committee on Tax Policy and Administration under the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

ACIG shares national goals and tasks of extending the Customs Union’s economic integration and creating favourable conditions for further cooperation among Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan and provides expert support in drawing up recommendations for Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission. Chief Accountant Anton Chuklin, Director of the Department of Legal and Tax Consulting Yury Fedyukin and the members of the Consultative Committee examined the issues of indirect taxation and the preparation of draft normative legal acts, aimed at enhancing indirect taxation on the united customs territory of the Customs Union and the CES. Another issue of customs activity discussed at the meeting was concrete regulations and cases of collecting and compensating VAT.

Regular participation in the meetings of coordination and consultative bodies of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission enables the ACIG experts to possess up-to-date information on the all-round development aspects of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space.
